This is the first in a series of digital compilations showcasing some of the fantastic remixes we’ve been lucky enough to procure since we founded Palms & Charms in 2014.

Volume 1 kicks off with Ruf Dug’s take on Barnaby Bruce’s ‘On The Continent’. The reliably esoteric Dug concocts a uniquely spacious groove, leading up to a killer piano line to take you out onto the dance floor.

Next up, Max Essa tackles This Time Around, also from Barnaby Bruce, creating a slab of mid-tempo Euro dance pop, with stabs and subtle arpeggios that will drive your feet to new and inventive dance moves.

Nottingham’s finest purveyors of Balearica, Coyote (Is It Balearic?), deliver their dub mix of Mallorquín's 'The Planet I Left Behind', offering a pulsating production of galactic proportions, which feels like a trip beyond the stars.

Finally, Italian psychedelic-disco purveyors Almunia offer a remix of 'Afro Tipsy' by Masanori Ikeda. The rhythm envelops you, as dubbed-out guitar echoes through the night, taking you to new places.
